Here at Trinity we value a spirit of partnership in serving those around us. We choose to call our volunteers ministry partners because a volunteer might ask, “Will I take part in the work?” as if it were an option. Whereas a ministry partner asks, “What part of the work will I take?” because he or she knows it is a holy expectation.
There are many ways to be a ministry partner on Trinity’s campus and out in the community. Below are just a few ways you might choose to serve this month:
Ministry Opportunities
- Ushers needed! If you could help in this important welcoming ministry, contact jane@tupcsa.org
- Samaritan Care Center Freezer: Our freezer could use a few more homemade soups and/or casseroles to share with those in need. Please package food to serve 2-4 people in a plastic container or sealed aluminum pan prebaked ready to reheat. Label container with contents, directions, and date. - Trinity English Center is looking for:
Teachers of small groups (training will be provided) Clerical help and greeters TEC meets every Tuesday from 9:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. at Trinity and teaches adults English. If interested, please contact: Joe Weatherstone at wxstone@sbcglobal.net.
- Cookies are a Ministry! Want a quick and easy way to serve? The Doorstep Ministry needs cookie bakers and cookie takers to bless newcomers at Trinity. The commitment is a cinch: once every three months or on an “as needed” basis. Contact Alice West, 714.516.9824, awest@awareconsulting.com.
