Fusion Transitions PUREPARENTING Course - Tuesdays, May 8, 15, 22, 2012 5:45p - 8:15p
PUREPARENTING will equip you to parent in today's sexualized and technology-driven culture. Each Tuesday we will provide you with the tools and information you need to guide your child(ren) in pursuing and navigating the challenges they face on a daily basis. Sessions will be taught by PUREPARENTING staff. Parents attending this course can also enroll their kids in our various clubs and transitions programs! Childcare will be available to those under age 3.
Each Tuesday night is $5 per adult & $5 per child.
*Cost includes dinner, children’s program, parent program and materials.
*The sixth grade transitions will start May 1st and will have an additional curriculum and course charge.
May 8th - Speaker: Noel Bouche
This session will equip parents to understand our rapidly changing culture and engage their kids with a biblical perspective of God's purposes and design for sex and a life of purity.
May 15th - Speaker: Rick Schatz
Rick will help parents gain crucial insight into how they can model purity in their own lives and leave a godly legacy that will be a blessing to their children.
May 22nd - Speaker: Dan Martin
Parents will be equipped to address the technological challenges their family faces and craft a tech strategy for their home.

6th Grade Transitions - Tuesdays, May 1, 8, 15, 22, 2012 5:45pm - 8:30pm
Transitioning into Junior High and becoming a teenager can be scary! You begin to struggle with issues like physical changes, identity, and relationships, while at the same time trying to define your value and purpose. The 6th grade Transitions course is designed to equip students with the awareness they need as they face this new stage of adolescence.
Each week, students will be served dinner, play games, and attend sessions taught by April Hancock and Joe Jardine. April is a clinical social worker that specializes in adolescents and has worked as a school-based counselor for 12 years. Joe is a licensed therapist who works with teenagers and families, speaks regularly at schools throughout the county, and has his own private practice. In each session, Joe and April will teach the students what to expect in becoming a teenager, and help them to recognize God’s purpose in their lives.
Tuesday, May 1st 6:30 - 8:30pm Introductory Session - Students and parents will each have their own special group that allows them to meet the counselors, learn about the Transitions course, and learn more about their role during this time of change. *No dinner for this Introductory session.
Cost is $50 with dinner included
Students are highly encouraged to attend every session.

Kid Unique Conference - May 19, 2012 9:00am - 12:30pm
There's a kid in your life you care about. It might be your own child or grandchild. Maybe it's someone in your youth group, the class you teach, the team you coach or even someone in your neighborhood. That kid needs someone who sincerely cares about them. You are that person, but you need to learn how to connect with them in a way that will equip them to enter their future with hope. That's where kidunique comes in play…
This extremely practical half-day learning experience will equip adults to powerfully impact kids lifelong.
Kids of all ages will have a super fun day camp while parents are learning!
$10 per person (children’s program is free)
Vacation Bible School – June 18-22, 2012 9:00am – 12:00pm
For Children ages 4 – 6th grade (All grades refer to fall 2012 status)
Everyone will learn that the sky’s the limit when it comes to trusting God at our all new Vacation Bible School – SKY! Every morning it’s off to the wild blue yonder as you and your flight crew explore our amazing God, his creation and what the Bible teaches us about trusting him. Everything is possible with God!
