Caregiver Support Group
Monday, July 14
Monday, Aug 11
Monday, Sept 8
3:00 - 4:30 pm
Samaritan Care Center

Are you or someone you know in the role of being a caregiver for a loved one? A multitude of different experiences arise in this role. You may have never been prepared for dealing with doctors, medications, nutrition, daily care needs, as well as balancing your own family's needs. You may feel isolated, fearful, frustrated, even angry caring for a loved one.

The good news is a new Caregiver's Support Group will begin meeting in the Samaritan Care Center on the second Monday of the month. If you or someone you know is a caregiver, this is an opportunity to share your experiences, receive some support and encouragement and share some ideas that may help someone else. This will be a safe, confidential environment for you to share and an opportunity to pray and be prayed for.

Gini Walker, a trained Stephen Minister, who has had personal experience being a caregiver, will facilitate this group. For additional information, please contact Nancy Amo RN, parish nurse at 714.505.6254.x123 or email nancy@tupcsa.org
